The Flyer is flying!

Flyer are such a curious thing. You always need them to communicate what’s happening. They are never really part of the show but they are everything before the show opens and they are what’s left long after it has passed (besides photo documentation). Before the show opens they are precious cargo and one good way to start a conversation. After the show, a few make it to the artist archive and the rest becomes paper waste.
Anyway, I always loved flyer. I used to collect the thick and fancy ones from galleries, long before I even imagined of becoming an artist myself. I used to hang them around the apartment. They are compact and beautiful and fit anywhere. They are a fair substitute if you cannot afford art prints or original art works.
They sometimes make me doubt myself when I am designing them. But this one was a great joy.

Below are a few I made in recent years.
